Balancing the Budget with No Gimmicks – While the politicians claim we have a budget surplus, the state is hundreds of billions in debt they pretend doesn't exist. We need to balance the budget now. Stop the gimmicks!

Rob McCoy was born in Coronado, California. The son of a Navy officer, he learned early on the values of service to his country and his community.
Rob is a graduate of Coronado High class of 1982 where he achieved All-American Honors for swimming and water polo. He then went on to graduate from California State University of Fresno with a BA in History. While attending Fresno State, he Finished 3rd in the United States Senior National Open Water Swimming Championships. He still holds all records for his events at Fresno State.
After graduating, Rob worked for a variety of different companies in a managerial capacity, including such notable companies as Helene Curtis and Unilever, where he held the position as Area Manager overseeing a region covering three states.
Rob is a leader in his community, having served on the boards of the Conejo Pregnancy Center and United in Purpose, as well as a National District Counselor to Alpha Gamma Omega fraternity. In addition, he has served as a chaplain in the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and currently serves as headmaster of Little Oaks School in Thousand Oaks.
In 2001, Rob was appointed Senior Pastor for Calvary Chapel in Thousand Oaks, where he continues to minister to this day. Rob lives in Newbury Park with Michelle, his wife of 24 years, and their 5 children.
